About us

Generations of Knowledge and Experience

“Hello, I’m Richard Carter, owner of RC Fencing, and I wanted to explain a bit about what makes RC Fencing different.

My background is agriculture, I am from a farming family, based in beautiful East Sussex, I was trained at agricultural college, and my passion is everything countryside.

This put me in the perfect position to see fencing from the user’s point of view, and the frustrations farmers and the equestrian world have when trying to protect their livestock, keep horses safe, secure areas of conservation and everything in between.

Every project has its unique issues and challenges and one size does not fit all.

So, at RC Fencing our first job is to use our knowledge and experience to look at a project and provide advice on how best the objective should be achieved.

We then use the best techniques, old and new, and the best products, traditional and modern, to produce the finished job… something the client, and above all, I can be proud of.

Pride is everything to us, and we go the extra mile to get things done properly and to a level of quality not achieved by many. To the extent that we test ourselves against others at various fencing competitions around the country.

Conservation and sustainability is becoming more and more important in our world, and that includes fencing, so, although fencing is very much a traditional skill, we are always looking for new ways and products that can help clients make the changes they need.

Anyway, that’s if for now, as you can see we are currently updating our website, so more will follow. In the meantime, if there is any help or advice you need, please do not hesitate to contact me.”
